This is the second year in a row I’m in the area for an event, so I decided to try the diner closest to the hotel. This diner seems to be rather popular at breakfast time. The interior is done in the classic diner style, comfortable with many booths. I thought Amphora’s food pricing was on the high side for diners (although probably not too out of line for the DC area) but portions are big and the Tex Mex Scramble I tried was pretty good. Service was very sweet and attentive.
